In Kalinga, police force of 1st Kalinga Provincial Mobile Force Company (KPMFC) reached out to a family in Sitio Calbayan, Brgy Katabbogan, Pinukpuk to share their blessings.
Travelling for more than 1 hour to reach Sitio Calbayan, 1st KPMFC cops personally visited Mang Roberto in his residence.
According to 1st KPMFC, Mang Roberto is a 49-year-old farmer, living in a “barong-barong” house together with his mother, Nanay Soping; his older brother, Juanito with his two (2) children; and his older sister, Lucia, with her six (6) children.
Due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the livelihood of the family was greatly affected. Currently, Mang Roberto is the only one working to provide and support the whole family.
As part of their Project Kabaddang, aiming to extend help to families in need, especially those in the far-flung areas, 1st KPMFC cops pooled funds from their own pockets to give and personally deliver some basic necessities and assorted groceries to the family.
