Month of August is “National Water Quality Month”, a perfect opportunity to remind and renew our commitment to conserve and protect our water resources. In 2005, the EPA established it as to emphasize the significance of the nation’s access to safe and clean drinking water.

By adopting sustainable practices, we will all be one step closer making a difference to conserve and protect our water resources by changing little things we do every day. Ways to celebrate:

1. Practice conservation

2. Avoid using pesticides or chemical fertilizers

3. Participate in cleanup events

4. Plant more native trees

5. Reduce plastic waste (e.g. stop buying bottled waters and using single-use plastics)

Let’s ensure safe water for all and make our Earth a livable environment. How about you, what action can you make in addition to conserve our water resources?
