Camp Marcelo A Adduru, Tuguegarao City – Cagayano Cops conduct drug buy-bust operation that leads to the arrest of two High Value Individuals and seizure of Two-thousand grams of Marijuana at Maribbay St. Ugac Norte, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
Personnel from Cagayan PPO, Provincial Intelligence Unit identified the suspects as alias “Rojun” and “Gino”.The confiscated marijuana was worth Php240,000.00.
The operating unit also confiscated cellphones, motorcycle and buy-bust money. The suspects were detained at Police Community Precinct, Don Domingo, Tuguegarao City Police Station and will be charged for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Police Brigadier Christopher Birung, PRO2 Regional Director lauded the operating troops for the successful arrest of drug personalities. “We will continue to apprehend those people who go against the the law. Huwag nating pahihintulutan na makagawa pa sila ng mga ilegal na gawain na makasisira sa kapayapaan at katahimikan ng Rehiyon Dos.”
