Today, through the initiative of the Provincial Human Resource Management Office the Provincial Health Office conducts the 2nd dose vaccination of A4 priority group – frontline government employees – in the Provincial Government of Kalinga establishing a vaccination site at the Kalinga Astrodome.
The vaccines are given by the City Local Government Unit of Tabuk upon the request of PHRMO. They also initiated the venue of the vaccination so that the PLGU employees won’t have to worry about long queues.
As recalled, Kalinga raised its alert level status to 4 following the surge of COVID-19 cases from the past days deeming vaccination necessary to help counter mild to severe infections.The Provincial Health Office created a Quick Substitution List with names on standby to replace a previously fully-immunized recipient from the initial master list.
Personnel from the Kalinga Police Provincial Office, Provincial Department of Health Office, and Provincial Security Services who participated during the vaccination simulation earlier this year assisted in the conduct of the activity.
