Former longtime superflyweight world champion Jerwin Ancajas returned to his winning ways in the super bantamweight division with a dismantling of Wilner Soto of Argentina at The Armory in Minneapolis, MA, Saturday night (Sunday in Manila).

In an eight-round scheduled bout, Ancajas (34-3-2, 23KOs) smothered Soto (22-13-0, 12KOs) with body shots and combinations to the head, never allowing the Argentinian to connect punches in the fight.

Ancajas unleashed a flurry of punches that downed Soto in the 4th round.

In the 5th round, Ancajas finished Soto off with a series of body shots. The referee stopped the contest when Soto dropped to his knee for the second knockdown.#
