Although still not declaring her intention to run, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio has topped the latest Pulse Asia survey on preferred candidates for president in the 2022 elections. Duterte’s lead, though, has dwindled to an 8-point decline in the number of those supporting her compared to the June 2021 survey.
Statistically tied on second spot were former senator Bongbong Marcos, Manila Mayor Moreno and Senator Manny Pacquiao. Conducted from September 6 to 11, 2021, the Pulse Asia survey is based on a sample of 2,400 respondents. It has an error margin of ± 2% at 95% confidence level. (Courtesy:Pulse Asia)
