Barangay Bagumbayan, Ilagan City recorded four cases of dengue this month of July. This is the highest number of dengue cases recorded in the area this year.
Barangay Officials and Barangay Health Officers are taking steps to avoid dengue disease. This includes the “Linis-Bayan” program conducted in the area twice a month.
Authorities even go to schools to conduct a clean-up drive. They spray areas where mosquito possibly reside to prevent the spread of dengue.
Meanwhile, Rizalina Azurin, City Health Midwife of the said barangay encouraged everyone to always clean their surroundings to eradicate mosquitoes that causes dengue disease.
