CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela-The Farm Fresh Foxies rallied to win a four-set victory over short-handed Choco Mucho with 23-25, 25-19, 25-23, 26-24 triumph at the Capital Arena here in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) On Tour showdown Saturday night.
Showing composure, the Foxies led by lefties Trisha Tubu, Caitlin Viray, and Jolina Dela Cruz sparked a two-hour, nine-minute thriller, which got loud cheers from most of the 7,648 people inside the arena and about 3,000 people outside the building who watched in a LED television.
The victory put the Foxies in a second place, alongside Petro Gazz, to set aside a straight-set loss to PLDT last July 1.
Tubu earned the Best Player of the Game with 22 points, which included three blocks.
Choco Mucho played without star players Sisi Rondina and Dindin Manabat and fell to 1-2.#
