GONZAGA, Cagayan-Families who suffered damages due to the wrath of Super Typhoon Nando in the towns of Gonzaga and Santa Ana greeted worth cheers President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. upon his arrival at the Gonzaga town gymnasium, where he personally let the distribution of government assistance.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development distributed family food packs to each of the 2,500 identified beneficiaries. In addition, every affected family received P10,000 in cash assistance.

The Department of Agriculture provided fertilizer and seed assistance to farmers whose crops were destroyed by the typhoon, in an effort to help them recover from their losses.#
