Police arrested on March 25 two suspects allegedly involved in the ambush-slay of Aparri Vice Mayor Rommel Alameda and his aides–Abraham Ramos, Jr., John Duane Alameda, Alvin Abel, Ismael Nanay, Sr., and Alexander Delos Angeles in Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya on October 19,2023.
The suspects were identified as Alias Ramon, leader of a Potential Private Armed Group (PPAGs) residing in Brgy. Luna, Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija and Alyas George, member of PPAGs and a resident of Mallorca, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija.
According to the report, after thorough monitoring and verification of the suspects’ whereabouts, authorities immediately served the warrant of arrest against them, where they are facing six counts of Murder with no recommended bail for their temporary release.
Meanwhile, authorities assured that they will continue the investigation into the case to identify the other accomplices in the murder of Aparri 6.#
