Tuguegarao City- As preparations are ahead of the August 22 school opening, the SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown (SMTD) employees joined hands with the teachers and parents to help rehabilitate Tuguegarao West Central School earlier today, August 19, 2022.
On August 2, 2022, the Department of Education (DepEd) officially kicked off the nationwide Brigada Eskwela 2022 which will run until August 26. Guided by the 2022 theme Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral, SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown recognized its role as a catalyst in creating a safe learning environment for the learners.
“Our Customer Relations Service headed by Regional Manager Ariel M. Anog, is very happy for the active participation of our members. With the spirit of volunteerism, these SM employees took time off from their admin and security duties to join this very meaningful collaboration, Mr. Victor B. Rapisura, SMTD Customer Relations Services Supervisor said.”
Last 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic hit the country and caused the closure of schools, the SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown has also adopted Tuguegarao West Central School as their beneficiary for Brigada Eskwela.
