SANTIAGO CITY-Uplifting people’s spirits, Senator Ramon Revilla rallied for positivism as he distributed relief package to typhoon-stricken villagers under his Bayanihan Relief project at the Rosario barangay hall in this city on November 19.
“Despite the happenings, I am upbeat to see you safe and sound. Just remember, do not lose hope. Life goes on and we will rise as one together,” Senator Revilla said in Filipino.
The beneficiaries in Rosario are a part of the recipients in Isabela and in neighboring provinces of Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya who received relief from the Bayanihan Relief trucks from the senator’s office regionwide.
The senator noted that the series of typhoons like Kristine, Leon, Marce, Nika, Ofel, and Pepito should not dampen the spirits of the people and the relief would help them.
Revilla distributed food, water and household kits to villagers.
He was joined by Santiago City Mayor Sheena Tan-Dy, Isabela 6th District Rep. Faustino “Inno” Dy V and other government officials.
In Quirino, he was joined by Governor Dakila Carlo Cua, Rep. Midy Cua, and former Rep. Junie Cua. In Nueva Vizcaya, he was greeted by provincial and town government officials.#
