CAUAYAN CITY – A daughter of Vice President Leni Robredo asserted they are not distracted by any political noise, saying they are focused on reaching out to more people via their house-to-house campaign.

 “Kami po focused sa kampanya. Hindi kami nagpapaapekto. Hindi kami nagpapa-distract sa kung ano mang ingay sa labas,” Aika said when asked about calls for her mother to withdraw from the presidential race during a media interview in Isabela.

 “Kasi mayroon na lang tayong 19 or 20 days left. Talagang iyong attention at focus namin, doon kami nakatutok,” she added.

 Aika spent Tuesday in Isabela, conducting house-to-house campaign and market run in Cauayan, Luna and Alicia in Isabela.

She also met with the women’s sector in Cabatuan, visited the Pink Wall with youth leaders in Aurora and met with farmers in San Mateo.

 Aika was in Cagayan on Monday where she visited an Aeta community in Penablanca and met with victims of Typhoon Ulysses in Tuguegarao before conducting house-to-house campaign in Baggao.

While Aika was barnstorming the North, her two siblings, Tricia and Jillian, went around Caloocan and Quezon City, respectively, on Tuesday.

 Various celebrities also joined the house to house campaign for Robredo, with actor Jake Ejercito and actress Pokwang going around Mandaluyong and Antipolo, respectively.

Ejercito was joined by fellow actor Adrian Lindayag while Pokwang went around with celebrity mom Pia Magalona. Veteran actor Jaime Fabregas joined Jillian in Quezon City.

Actresses Nikki Valdez and Alora Sassam campaigned in Cagayan and Bukidnon, respectively, while online influencer Pipay conducted house to house campaign in Laguna#
