The Regional Police Office 2, through the different police stations and public safety forces regionwide in coordination with Dep Ed is now conducting a free online review to the new batch of PRO2 Project AYER Beneficiaries, in preparation for the entrance examination to be conducted by the PMA, PMMA and the PNPA this year.
PMAJ Arlene Javier, Action PCO, RPSMU said that the online review classes for the more than 200 AYER beneficiaries, in coordination with RICTMD started July 9, 2022 with volunteer instructors from the I-Saved Foundation, Cagayan State University, Philippine Information Agency, PRO2 Officers and Media.
During the orientation, the proponent of Project AYER, Police Brig.Gen. Romaldo Bayting, PNP-Region 2 officer-in-charge, gave words of encouragement to the aspiring cadets and expressed his gratitude to the PSMUs for the success during the 3rd batch of the project.
PRO2 has launched Project AYER (Assistance to youth with Exemplary Academic Gades for Cadetship Recruitment) last 2019 and continuously helping indigent Senior Highschool students in region who have exemplified academic excellence and are willing to pursue a career in law enforcement by entering the Philippine National Police Academy, Philippine Military Academy and the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy.
Project AYER is designed to provide indigent but eligible Highschool students in the region the equal opportunity to continue with the tertiary level of education and become part of the primiere academies by giving them the privilege to be provided assistance during the application process. # (PNP-PRO2)
