Camp Marcelo A Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan- The Police Regional Office 2 arrested a suspected criminal in Reina Mercedes, Isabela on October 16.
Isabela Provincial Director Police Colonel Julio Go in his report to PRO2 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Christopher Birung stated that the notorious invidual identified as alias “Ramon” (Regional No.1 Top Most Wanted Person) was arrested at about 9:30 AM at Purok 1 Brgy. Dangan, Reina Mercedes, Isabela by the joint personnel of Reina Mercedes PS (lead-unit), Provincial Intelligence Unit Isabela Police Provincial Office, Provincial Investigation Detective Management Unit IPPO and Regional Intelligence Unit 2-Provincial Intelligence Team Isabela by service of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Jeffrey Julian Cabasal, Presiding Judge, Second Judicial Region, RTC Br. 16, Hall of Justice, Ilagan City Isabela for the crime of Rape and RA 7610 in relation to RA 8369 (Family Court) with no bail recommended.
Arrested notorious Wanted Person is now under the custody of Reina Mercedes PS for documentation and proper disposition prior to turn over to the issuing court.
Brigadier General Birung lauded the operating troops for the successful operation. “The successful arrest of Regional Top 1 Most Wanted Person for the heinous crime of Rape will undoubtedly contribute to ensuring the security of our citizens and a manifestation that the Valley Cops will not stop enforcing the Law 24/7 to make Cagayan Valley a peaceful place to live on and a better place for business,” he added.
