The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the names to be used for typhoons that may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this 2025.

The released names are only meant for typhoons that may form or enter the PAR, according to PAGASA, and they do not indicate that many typhoons will form.

Should there be more than 25 typhoons entering the PAR, the names on the Auxiliary list will be used.

The auxiliary list, according to PAGASA, is an extra list of typhoon names that is created by PAGASA and used in the event that the standard name list runs out within a year.

It is said to be used when the number of typhoons that enter or form in the PAR exceeds 25.#
