Operatives of the Philippine National Police #PNP and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency #PDEA burned P2.8 billion worth of marijuana from two plants in Benguet this Friday, March 21.
According to the report of PNP Cordillera, around 14,000 fully grown marijuana plants were discovered in Brgy. Peace in Bacon and Brgy. Badeo in the Kibungan. Authorities have released some samples for forensic examination.
No one was arrested in the operation because no one was caught planting or tending two plantations. Investigation continues by the PNP and PDEA to hold those behind these accountable.#
