Authorities seized more than seven hundred high-caliber bullets in an operation conducted in Enrile, Cagayan.
The suspect was identified as Alias “Bilis”, 67 years old, married, and a resident of Brgy. II, Enrile, Cagayan.
Seized from the suspect was a link of caliber 5.56mm containing 208 bullets stored in a polymer ammunition box, a purple gallon with 461 bullets of 5.56 rifle and 77 bullets for cal.30 carbine rifle.
The suspect will face charges for violation of RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition, which is also related to the Omnibus Election Code as part of the Election Gun Ban.#
