TABUK CITY, KALINGA: Tabuk City celebrated the vibrant creativity of its people with the launch of the Mangwa Creative Festival on November 18, 2024, at the city gymnasium here.
This event, a project of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) under the Philippine Creative Industries Development Act or (RA 1104), was organized in partnership with the CLGU to support and showcase local creative talents.
The launch featured the Unveiling of Culture and Creativity Symbol and the ribbon-cutting of the Man-uto Tako Food Fair, led by City Mayor Darwin C. Estrañero, DTI-Kalinga Provincial Director Renie Ramos, and DTI-Cordillera Regional Director Juliet Lucas.
Mayor Estranero also signed the pledge of commitment to the Coffee Agro-eco-tourism industry in Kalinga by promoting, enhancing, and supporting its growth and sustainability in Tabuk.
A mobile cafe was also turned over by the DTI to JAC Farmers Association after the signing of the Usufruct Agreement for the shared service facility.#
