TUGUEGARAO CITY – Authorities arrested a suspected illegal logger in in Quibal, Penablanca, Cagayan last Monday, November 13, 2023.
A total of 96 pieces of illegally cut trees and lumbers worth P30,000 was directly seized through a search warrant from a man identified as alias “Jimboy.”
The suspect and the evidence were confiscated by the Police for proper documentation and disposition.
Police Brigadier General Christopher Birung on the other hand vowed to protect the interest of the region’s natural resources.#
