Isabela 6th District Rep. Faustino “Bojie” Dy III has been officially elected Speaker of the House of Representatives of the 20th Congress with 253 votes from the over 300-member chamber.

Twenty-eight abstained and four did not vote.

In his speech, he declared that “the House will change” amid issues of flood control projects plaguing the representatives.

“I will not defend the guilty. I will not shield the corrupt,” he said.#LNC
