The Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 2 successfully concluded its participation in the 3rd North Luzon Travel Expo (NLTE), held from November 21 to 23, 2024, at Barangay Panacsican, San Juan, La Union. Showcasing the potential of Cagayan Valley and Northern Philippine Islands as a wedding destination, the region earned the distinguished Best Themed Booth award, reflecting its excellence in creativity and tourism promotion.
As part of its contributions to the expo, DOT Region 2 hosted the Business-to-Business Luncheon Session, providing a platform for sellers and buyers to engage in meaningful networking and business discussions. The session, aimed at strengthening partnerships and fostering economic opportunities in the tourism sector, was graced by Regional Director Troy Alexander Miano, who warmly welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of collaboration in advancing North Luzon’s tourism industry.
