Environment Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo Loyzaga recognized the 2024 achievers from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) during the recent Employees’ General Assembly held in Quezon City.
For Region 2, Regional Executive Director Gwendolyn Bambalan was recognized by the De La Salle University Alumni Association, Inc. as Outstanding Alumna in Government Sector, while Regional Director Mario Ancheta of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau was conferred Most Outstanding Mining Engineer in the field of Government Sector.
Meanwhile, the Community Environment and Natural Resources Offices of San Isidro and Naguilian in the province of Isabela were Anti-Red Tape Authority 2023 Report Card Survey Silver Awardees conferred by the Anti-Red Tape Authority.
Isabela Information Officer Racquel Caldez was also recognized as Journalist and Columnist- DENR PH Asia’s Woman of Remarkable Achievements in Editorial Innovative Leadership and Most Empowered Bio-diversified Conservationist Expert Award of the Year given by the Thailand International Leadership Awards 2024.
Members of DENR Region 2 Chorale also performed a rendition during the assembly.#
