Former Ilocos Sur Governor and aspiring Senator Chavit Singson said in a press conference held in Santiago City, that having a death penalty is the solution to win the war on drugs in the Philippines.

According to Chavit, if the Philippines will have the death penalty as punishments for drug syndicates like in other countries, their eradication and extermination will be much easier.

Chavit also said he does not agree with the interference of the International Criminal Court or ICC in the country because the Philippines has a Supreme Court that will investigate and judge those found guilty.

He also introduced at the meeting the Vbank or Banko ng masa with the aim of making the lives of citizens easier using digital banking.#
