Camp Marcelo A Adduru, Tuguegarao City – Another CTG member was arrested by authorities under COPLAN TUGIS in Brgy. Calassitan, Sto Niño, Cagayan early morning on October 18, 2022.
By virtue of warrant of arrest, Jomar Fernandez y Bilag @aka RonRon/Erning/Elsie was arrested by the joint personnel of 202MC, RMFB2 (Lead Unit); RGSC2; 501st, MICO; 17IB Bravo Coy, PA; Sto. Niño PS; 4th MP, 1st CPMFC; NICA 2; and Sta Marcela PS, Apayao PPO at about 1:00 am of October 18, 2022.
Fernandez was arrested for violation of Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020, RA 11479 with no bail recommended; Illegal Possession, Manufacture and Acquisition of Firearms, Ammunition or Explosives (PD 1866 as amended by RA 8294 and RA 9516 with no bail recommended; Illegal Possession, Manufacture and Acquisition of Firearms, Ammunition or Explosives with no bail recommended; and Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition, RA 10591 with bail recommended fixed at Php120,000.00.
The arrested suspect and pieces of evidence were brought to Sto Nino PS for proper disposition.
