Through the initiative of the Municipal Advisory Council Chairman and Municipal Mayor Karl Bugao P Baac on March 4, 2022, the installation of CCTV cameras has been expedited in the sensitive areas of the municipality of Rizal, Kalinga as one of its crime prevention and crime solution strategy.
Three Stationary CCTV at Liwan West Junction and Rizal Police station were installed on Friday, March 4, 2022 with technical assistance from Hayford Office Supplies and Equipment Trading. The monitoring equipment installed was funded by the Rizal Local Government Unit under is 2021 POPS PLAN including the CCTVs to be installed along intersections in barangays Calaocan -San Quintin- Santor-Liwan East which was funded this fiscal year.
The Municipal advisory & Peace and Order Council has prioritized identified crime prone areas in terms of numbers of monitored and recorded traffic incidents and index crimes in the area.(PNP-Rizal, Kalinga PR)
