A public servant, soldier, and police officer—rolled into one.

For presidential aspirant and Senator Ping Lacson, he is every ready to offer his life to Filipinos. He risked his life and limb for the country in the past 51 years.

Senator Ping’s message is clear during the first presidential debates on Saturday: He is the only candidate who has given his life for the people as a soldier, a police officer and a public servant. He has the qualifications, experience and capability to lead the country despite the mounting problems nationwide.

Our problems are no joke: The effects of pandemic in the economy, high oil prices owing to the Ukraine conflict, and the national government’s debt which reached P12 trillion. Still, the recurring problems of corruption, insurgency, and bullying of China on West Philippine Sea.

His experiences as a soldier, police, and legislator would be of great help to solve the problems.

Mula sa pagiging sundalo at alagad ng batas na lumaban sa terorismo, rebeldeng komunista at pusakal na kriminal; bilang Chief PNP na nagpatino at naglinis ng hanay ng kapulisan; bilang Senador na kailanman hindi nabahiran ng korapsyon, nais ko pong ipagpatuloy na magsilbi sa ating bayan (From being a soldier and a policeman who fought against terrorism, communist rebels, and hardened criminals; as a Chief PNP who cleansed the police ranks; as a Senator who never got into corruption, I would like to continue serve the country.),” according to Senator Ping, who spent ten years at the Philippine Constabulary, ten years at the PNP, and 18 years at the Senate aside from being the Presidential Assistant on Rehabilitation and Recovery.

Aside from the qualifications, experience, and capability, Senator Ping has been known to have a fourth K: Katapangan (Bravery). He uncovered the shenanigans in government, which earned him enemies.

In COMELEC debates, Lacson has shown his courage in putting promises into reality.

“It takes a leader who is competent, qualified and experienced, to turn the promises of unity, Bilis Aksyon, Angat Buhay into reality. Kailangan natin ng Pangulo na handang ipaglaban kayong lahat para ipanalo ang sambayanang Pilipino,” Lacson has stressed.

We believe on Senator Ping’s statements in the debate: “Among all the Presidential aspirants —narito man o laging absent — walang sinuman kundi ako ang sadya at aktwal na nagsugal ng sariling buhay sa pagligtas sa panganib ng sinuman.”
