Aspiring candidates for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan election in Cauayan City, Isabela joined the unity walk and peace covenant signing held at FLDY Colosseum, last October 1, 2023.
The unity walk commenced around six o’clock in the morning and was led by PNP Cauayan together with Attorney Christopher Thiam, election officer, and various members of the government, public and private organizations.
The 2240 BSKE candidates in the city also pledged their commitment to promote safe, fair, and free local election after the unity walk in barangay Baringin.
Police Colonel Julio Go, the Provincial Director of PNP Isabela said that it is important to educate future leaders towards unity to achieve a peaceful and accurate election this year.
The event ended with the BSKE running officials signing of the peace covenant.
