Ampatuan, Maguindanao police chief, Police Lt.Reynaldo Samson, was killed instantly with his security-driver when they were waylaid by suspected criminals who were the subjects of their operation in Brgy. Kapinpilan, Ampatuan, Maguindanao on August 30, 8:30 this morning.
Brigadier General John Guyguyon, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, Regional Police Chief, reported that the police officer was about to serve a warrant of arrest in relation to their simultaneous One-Time-Big-Time operation today.
Maguindanao police that other policemen in the said operation were also wounded but are still being verified.#
