A barangay councilor who was also labeled as high value target has been arrested after he was caught selling illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in the town of Aparri, Cagayan.
The suspect was identified as alias “Budoy”, 46 years old, single, Barangay Kagawad and a resident of the said town.
Confiscated from the suspect were two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and boodle money.
Meanwhile, the suspect is now under the custody of the authorities and will face charges for violating RA 9165 or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.#
