The road and part of the seawall were damaged due to Typhoon Nando on the Itbud-Imnajbu national road in Uyugan, Batanes.
As a result, no type of vehicle can pass thru the section of the national road from Barangay Itbud to Barangay Imnajbu in the town of Uyugan due to the damaged road and seawall at that time.
According to PDRRMO reports, a portion of the seawall collapsed and roads were damaged due to the storm surge caused by Super Typhoon Nando in the province, which resulted in strong waves.
The Department of Public Works and Highways is still assessing the cost of the damage. #
