CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela – Over 200 Social Security System (SSS) pensioners participated in the Happy Pensioners’ Day celebration held today, September 12, at the Capitol Amphitheater here.
Under the leadership of the Social Security System (SSS) Ilagan Branch and the SSS Luzon North 2 Division, the participants bonded with the
pensioners from the towns of Ilagan, Divilacan, Santo Tomas, Tumauini, Santa Maria, San Pablo, and Delfin Albano.
Jesus Gonzales, Branch Head of SSS Ilagan, thanked the pensioners for their contribution to society.
Atty. Vic Byron Fernandez, Concurrent Acting Head of the SSS Luzon North Division, discussed the office’s programs such as loans for pensioners and pension increases.
He shared that there will be a ten percent increase per year for retired pensioners, while death or survivor pensioners will receive a five percent increase per year. #
