The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) donated medical equipment and hygiene kits to the local governments of Barangay Wawa in Lumban, Laguna, and Barangay Kalusugan in Quezon City as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program.
Barangay Wawa received 10 wheelchairs and 10 nebulizers in a formal turnover ceremony held at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City. The donation was accepted by Punong Barangay Raydan Dela Cruz.
The wheelchairs will benefit senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs), while the nebulizers will be distributed across the barangay’s ten zones to help strengthen its community health services.
Meanwhile, 150 hygiene kits were turned over to Barangay Kalusugan, Quezon City, and received by Punong Barangay Rocky Rabanal. The kits are intended for senior citizens, single parents, and women belonging to the community’s vulnerable sectors.(PR)
