TUGUEGARAO CITY — Two people were killed after a motorcycle caught fire after being hit by a truck in Enrile town in Cagayan province Saturday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

Fire protection officials have yet to identify the charred bodies of the motorcycle passengers who were thrown to a grassy lot after the head-on collision with the truck in Barangay (village) Roma Norte few minutes past noontime.

The driver of the truck was not mentioned in the report but according to the BFP, the driver suffered minor wounds.

A follow-up probe is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident while the truck driver is being treated at a hospital.#
