TUGUEGARAO CITY – Authorities nabbed a dismissed cop in Isabela confiscating a traveling bag containing 10 blocks of marijuana last November 5, 2023 in Barangay Samonte, Quezon, Isabela.
The suspect was identified to be an alias “David” and a former member of Philippine National Police stationed in Metro Manila.
David was cornered by the police at 11:00 PM in front of a store after the latter tried to evade the authorities.
Seized directly from the suspect was 9.4 kilograms of alleged marijuana with an estimated worth of P1,128,000.
The man will be charged with violation of RA 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of the Philippines.
