One million pesos worth of marijuana was destroyed in a plantation in Tinglayan, Kalinga.
According to the report from PNP-Kalinga Provincial Office, a five-hectare marijuana plantation was discovered in Barangay Loccong in the town of Tinglayan by members of the 1st Kalinga Provincial Mobile Force Company, Tinglayan police, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Kalinga police, PDEA Kalinga, and the R-PSB Team.
The destroyed marijuana was documented and then burned, and the authorities took some samples for custody and examination. No one was seen guarding the area.#
