Authorities from PDEA RO 2 Cagayan PO, Tuguegarao City Drug Enforcement Unit and other agencies conducted an entrapment operation that resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old drug dealer in Pengue-Ruyu, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
The suspect was identified as alyas MJ, resident of Tuguegarao City.
According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 2, after receiving a report about the suspect’s illegal activities, they immediately placed him under monitoring before conducting an entrapment operation against him.
1.3 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of Php8,840 and 712 grams of suspected dried marijuana leaves estimated to be worth Php85,440 were seized from the suspect’s possession.
The suspect will face charges under RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.#
